I love the word 'troll' because it reminds me of the Billy Goat's Gruff, a story that always left me feeling confused, but I don't like the way the term is used to insult people who make smart-arse comments on the web. People should be able to contribute to the world-wide whinge in whatever way they they wish.
My daughter tells me that my comments on Twitter constitute 'trolling' but I don't really think so. How much can be said in less than 140 characters? Besides that, so much social discourse is ridiculous and can't be taken seriously so let's keep it brief.
